This study aims to acess the social memory that appear in the virtual environment, the Virtual Museum Collection Carlos Estevão de Oliveira, raising the discussion on the topic of preserve records and traces of humanity, providing them in the virtual environment, promoting free access through the Internet, thinking how the users take ownership and relate to these collections
