This article aims to show the uniqueness of São Francisco Square in the city of São Cristóvão in the state of Sergipe, last place in Brazil to receive the title of UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity and architectural heritage that surrounds it. Beyond the intrinsic value of the buildings surrounding it, the site provides a space for sociability, cultural events, as well as tourist attraction. With reflections on the subject, one realizes that the São Francisco Square to become equity at the global level can turn into a product for cultural tourism as the example of other historical sites scattered around the planet.
