Intangible culture and heritage education: Notes on museums and the educational value of intangible heritage
Abstract
Under the importance of cultural heritage and social memory, professionals and institutions are turning their attention to the preservation, and make this heritage a field of knowledge to be disseminated. The work focused on the methodology of heritage education is present at the hearing on the subject, this being the subject of this essay, which also reflects on the writings gathered in the Museums Life, the years 2001 and 2002, in a reflection which takes the intangible heritage and heritage education.
