A função expositiva no quadro do binómio Museologia e Património: o caso da Galeria de Exposições Temporárias do Mosteiro de Santa Maria de Alcobaça

Abstract

Bearing in mind that the sociocultural feature of museology is based on a cross-theoretical and practical domain, inherent to exhibition (re)thinking, therefore demanding in this perspective, an understanding of the expository phenomenon based on a broader dimension, which aims to contribute to shorten the communication gap between the museum and its public. In this article we aim to show the expository function, using as examples the Mosteiro de Santa Maria of Alcobaça and its respective Gallery of Temporary Exhibitions, privileging an approach which highlights the interaction between the concepts of museology and heritage.
