Abstract

Abstract: The paper analyzes the process of creation and implementation of the project Wood Museum in order to safeguard the history of extractive economic activity, contextualizing regional development and European immigration in the Itajai Valley. The methodology has four steps in considering historical facts, political, economic and socio-cultural portraying the events. Thus, the Project Wood Museum fulfills its purpose as a collective space reconnaissance development and preservation of the history of the Itajaí Valley.
