The ZM received on average 2,689 annual visitors at the project headquarters (coming from schools, universities, and the community at large). It was visited by 88 educational institutions and different organizations, from state and international origin, often more than once. Visits are by previous appointment and can be general or of thematic nature. There were received 28 municipal districts visits. External exhibitions have been held in and out of the city, in depicting events and dates to the patrimonial issue. The ZM had offered an annual short course of Taxidermy (more than 270 participants since the beginning) and has also been sought by educational institutions requesting training courses for teachers. An awareness activity to small synanthropic invertebrates has been started in the green campus area.
