Abstract

This article is a clipping of the ongoing research project entitled "Memories and networked cultural heritage: the record (auto)biography on the threat of loss", which seeks to register and organize the networked life stories of patients affected by a rare disease, chronic neurological, known as multiple sclerosis. The acquis (auto)Biographical produced, hosted by the Museu da Pessoa, SP, will be part of the network of seventeen thousand testimonials on audio, video and text made available on the World Wide Web. The interviews are collected from the methodology of Oral history, audio and video recorded and subsequently transcribed in the form of texts are also published in Biographical narratives. The production of interdisciplinary expertise and the analyses of the (auto)biographies collected do not cease to overflow and problematizações, one of them, will be the object of this article. This is the dialogue with this acquis in construction and the field of Cultural heritage. Although the life stories of this research are very specific, all traversed by the experience of living with a rare neurological disorder, but the questioning is more comprehensive proposal. The (auto)Biographical narratives that embody the stories of lives may be Cultural Heritage? That eligibility criteria make it possible that having? From theoretical tools in the field of memory, history and Cultural heritagethis article contends, at the same time problematizes, the argument of the centrality and valuation of life Stories of ordinary people as Cultural Heritage available in the Museum.
