Abstract

The present work has proposed to conduct an audience study on the reception of the Resistance Memorial of São Paulo - located on Largo General Osório St, Santa Ifigênia neighborhood, São Paulo city. The main objective was to analyze the dialogical relationship between the long-term exposure and the visiting audience. Thus, the lenses of the work focused on the issuer, the receiver and the relation established between them through the visitor’s book. As time frame, the years of 2009 and 2014 were established - a selection who articulated both the year of the inauguration of the Memorial and the fifty years of the establishment of the Military Dictatorship in Brazil.
