Abstract

The article makes a critical reflection about the aspects of documentation of the Pancake performance by artist Márcia X, realized by the sectors of Museology and Research and Documentation of the Rio de Janeiro Museum of Modern Art. Its objective is to analyze different existing documents of the aforementioned sectors of documentation and its relation with works, bringing up questions that point to an importance of research and of information systems capable of including relevant data to the documents, especially when they refer to artistic performances.
