Abstract

The art expography is the actions of the operative chain museological that has been suffering ruptures and displacements especially from the modern and contemporary expressions. These arrangements have put in discussion how curatorship can affect the understanding of the artistic phenomenon and the interchangeable roles of curator and artist in this process. This text considers expography as one of the elements that interferes in the aesthetic fruition and points out some relevant moments of the trajectory of art expography in the world and in Brazil.
