The relationship between Information Science, exhibition curatorship and museum education: a reflection

The present reflection seeks to establish a dialogue between concepts derived from Information Science - information system, information actions, relevance - and the approaches of museology to analyze to what extent a type of relationship between different professional areas of the museum can promote the participation of the museum visitor. It is proposed to associate curatorship of exhibitions and the education sector and other professionals within the museum to boost museological communication, stimulating public participation in the process of designing, constructing and "using" the exhibitions, in order to motivate for the exercise of citizenship.Downloads
