Abstract

The article aims to reflect on some of the transformations that occurred in museums, which generated new functions and challenges for the field of museology, especially in the transitions from the authentic object to the production of experiences, as well as the transposition of classificatory frontiers to the understanding of the networks of social relations of objects in various temporalities. These transformations have their reflection in the processes of musealization, in particular, at the documentation, research and communication. The methodology used was documental and bibliographic research. The results indicate that in the three instances appear processes of continuity and transformation by the valorization of the transversalities that cross the homogeneous plans of the socio-cultural logics and anchor themselves in the social networks. These subsidize the communication actions enriched by participatory, collaborative and shared curatorships.
