Abstract

This article aims to present the historical-documentary research carried out on the works that make up the Via-Sacra (Way of the Cross) painted by Candido Portinari in 1945 for the Church of Pampulha. The Via Crucis of Candido Portinari belonging to the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte was restored by the UFMG Conservation-Restoration Center (CECOR) in 2019.
