Approaching the Museum and School partnership from a curriculum point of view, building new professional capacities
Abstract
The paper approaches the museum and school partnership from a curricula critical theory perspective. It analyses “partnership” as a social and relational category considering it among other operational ones as formal, non-formal and informal education. Those social and technical representations of educational practices and agents, when situated from a historical and social point of view, reveal something of the struggle for legitimacy in the educational field. Finally, it suggests that understanding the school and museum real curricula should bring new perspectives to the professional and initial education of the partners engaged in those situations.Downloads
