Museum: sensorial place

Abstract

The article is a reflection on the need to think about the expographic projects, considering the perceptions caused by the human senses for deepening the sense of belonging of the viewer with the exposed patrimony. It seeks to understand, in dialogue with Museology and Architecture, the relationship between the sensorial senses, the volumetric forms and the exhibition spaces. For that, a proposal was made for a methodological roadmap, which covers the sensorial elements to be considered when designing or evaluating an exhibition space.
