Dissemination as a tool to approach a collection of scientific instruments

Abstract

The choose of the criteria to select the heritage to be investigated, exhibited, possibly restaured, can be done from different approaches. In this work, we present two examples that develop the renovation of the permanent exhibition and the design of a temporary exposition in the Museo de Física de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. In both cases, the chosen instruments for the narratives acquire new meanings that allow them to be used to communicate much more than the disciplinary contents for which they were designed, positioning them in broader contexts.
