Resumen

O texto apresenta o estudo da implantação do Balance Scorecard (BSC) e do mapa estratégico, de Kaplan e Norton (2004), no Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional, Iphan. O objetivo é descrever e analisar a coerência dos objetivos estratégicos em relação às perspectivas prioritárias do Iphan: a sociedade, a sua atuação e a organização interna, como meios para enfrentar os desafios inerentes ao campo do patrimônio cultural, que se torna cada vez mais complexo.
